There is no Madrasah on Saturday 14 Jan 2012 due to the EDL demonstration.
The Madrasah will operate as normal on Sun 15 jan 2012 inshaallah. The march and demonstration will take place between 1pm and 3pm. The march is expected to leave from Wakering Road, Barking passing by Barking Railway Station into Ripple Road and finishing at Axe Street.Please stay indoors.
The English Defence League (EDL) is a far right street movement which opposes what it considers to be a spread of Islamism, Sharia law in the UK. The EDL uses street maeches to protest against Islam. At many of their gatherings, EDL members have clashed with counter-demonstrators, including supporters of Unite Against Fasism (UAF).
